AHMED

Image
AHMED I became one(same) with nothing, for reality has left me. I am sure this is the immediate euphoria to death, my death just 2mins away from my life. Now more than ever seems it rich to die, for I have let go of my self and of everything. My mind, heart and soul in a trinitarian agreement ready to leave my body to face that pain that ends it all . Drowning in the river of nothingness, near the island of hope, reality stretched out its hands to me, And I heard a woman's voice "thank you Jesus". And I opened those eyes that has been blinded by fear, We didn't die, fortunately for us our driver was experienced. It was like the first breath you take when you have being drowning under water. Certain events makes one to appreciate life more, accepting that death is familiar and yet anonymous.. MEMENTO MORI!!. I knew the lesson of the day has not ended when passengers where busy laying curses on the truck driver that almost crushed us and he(the truck driver)...

ERROR ON THE HEADLINES

Image
Error on the headlines.       We are all infected, some by virtue of illness others by virtue of circumstance. This is no longer a news we can just read or talk about, it's one we can feel, we all can feel its firm grip. Is it  good news or a badnews? Pardon me for asking that question, I just want us to prevent the temptation of hasty conclusion.   A sickness that brings us closer to the truth, certain truths that we fear so much. How our fates are linked to one another. Seven billion people on a tiny planet suspended in vastness of space all alone. A tiny planet divided into continents, continents divided into countries and it goes on and on.... Divided not by seas, oceans or land, but by believes, language, culture, races, creeds, understanding. I won't advertise my ignorance, it is obvious we have become; Bricklayers, clergies, ceos, plumbers, head of states, doctors, lawyers, prostitutes, cabdrivers, robbers, parents, students, children, siblings e.t.c....

BISOLA

Image
Bisola "Thank God I can feel pain". These are the exact words I will be satisfied to acclaim. But I can't anymore and I am so ashamed of this. The circumstances surrounding this tragedy were self-inficted. I am the architect of my own fate. I never believed that a day would come that I would wish to feel pain. From error to error, one discovers the entire truth- Sigmurd Frued. I am Bisola, a beautiful young man. I am in my early thirties but I was 22 when this life changing incident occured. I grew up alone. (Smiles) I am not an orphan. But I don't have any siblings. My parents are rich. Yet so poor to realize what I needed. Growing up I was always like a nation seeking independence. Oh yes, I grew up alone. This continued till I left home for school (the university). I came to school seeking everything except the only thing that meant everything " love"(that is in its true sense). I hadn't much chance to socialize cause I live far from school. It was not...

A bowl

Image
A BOWL  A bowl of water filled with grains. Who made the bowl? What has the maker made? to gain? Or who the maker is, seems better to know. For We know what he made when we know? Or we know all he knows when we know? No, let us first know what he made. We might then know him, for he knows what he made. Let us get a sieve to get the grains. What of the rest that are not grains? He made all so we need all to know all. The sieve can't get all. How then do we get what we  can't get? For the  sieve is all we have, to get what we want to get. What if that's not all ? What if the bowl is a part of all . A part of all that the maker knows. Can we really know all the maker knows? Can we really know the maker? The grains are all we can get from the bowl. For the sieves gets all it can get. So we can't know what the maker made? Or what he knows and who he is? For we couldn't even get a part of a part of all he knows from what he made. Life a bowl of water filled with grains. I...

so-ma-adina

.   SO-MA-DINA      Never have I felt so gay, I was slapped by reality. Before me is the only human being I love, he is in his death bed. The romance flowing within us shows he was me and I am him. How ironic, death made me feel what life couldn't make me feel. I have known many, liked a few and loved one, listen and know my lover.      The name somadina, was never a name I easily understood, but my father is the big gun of the family so he can name us. My dad is not just handsome, he is wise. There is more to him than meets the eye, that is mutual between my parents but they are flexible enough to be inflexible atimes....
